Job summary

Arizona Public Service offers a paid, temporary Water Resource Management Internship to gain hands-on experience with policies, programs, and planning efforts that help APS secure and manage sustainable water resources for power generation.

You will work with Water Resources professionals who collaborate with regulatory agencies, industry partners, and internal stakeholders on initiatives promoting responsible resource management and compliance with Arizona water regulations.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an accredited college or university undergraduate or graduate degree program.
• Pursuing studies in Public Policy, Political Science, Environmental Policy, Legal Studies, Public Administration, Sustainability, Environmental Science, or related field.
• Preferred GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Responsibilities

• Performs simple to intermediate analysis and designs; may assist in plans, designs, specifications and studies.
• Assists in research, documentation, studies or technical reviews; summarizes results in written reports or presentations.
• Learns business/engineering operations and applies learning to assignments.
• Coordinates efforts with other disciplines or departments to achieve goals.
• Performs other related duties as required.
