Job summary

Arizona Public Service seeks a Water Resource Management Intern to gain hands-on, project-based experience in policy, planning, and regulatory compliance for power generation. You will collaborate with Water Resources experts, regulators, and external partners to promote responsible resource management and environmental stewardship.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an accredited college or university program.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred.
• Studies in Public Policy or related fields listed in the ad.

Responsibilities

• Performs simple to intermediate analysis and designs for water policy or planning projects.
• Assists in research, regulatory reporting, and technical reviews with written summaries.
• Collaborates with APS teams and regulators on water resource management initiatives.
• Supports documentation and regulatory compliance with Arizona water laws and regulations.
• Attends meetings with agencies and industry groups to learn about policy and resource management issues.
