Job summary

Arizona Public Service Company is seeking an Accounting Intern to support financial analysis, account reconciliation, reporting, and accounting projects. This paid, temporary internship provides hands-on experience in corporate accounting while helping APS make informed business decisions.

You'll analyze data, work with accounting professionals on cost and energy accounting, assist journal entries, and contribute to regulatory and financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate degree program in Accounting or related field.
• 3.0 GPA or higher.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to work accurately with financial information.

Responsibilities

• Analyze financial and operational data to support business decisions and organizational goals.
• Partner with accounting professionals on financial, cost, and energy accounting activities.
• Assist with journal entries and account reconciliations to ensure financial information is accurate and reliable.

• Develop practical skills in data analytics and artificial intelligence applied to accounting challenges.
• Collaborate on cross-functional projects and deliver a final presentation to APS leadership.
