Boston Scientific in Arden Hills, Minnesota, is seeking a Packaging Engineer I to support development, verification and sustaining of packaging for Class I–III medical devices. You will create specifications, develop verification protocols, conduct testing and support design changes.

In this role, you will collaborate with design, QA, risk, purchasing, marketing and regulatory teams. The position follows a hybrid model with in-office presence at least three days per week in Arden Hills, MN.

Formación

• Bachelor of Science in packaging engineering or related technical field; in lieu of degree, 5+ years packaging design/testing experience.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a design engineering role.
• Strong communication and technical writing skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel and Visio).
• Ability to travel less than 10% of the time.

Responsabilidades

• Complete packaging and product development activities, including writing/verifying specifications and testing.
• Plan activities to meet project timelines.
• Conduct packaging tests and experiments for new product development.
• Troubleshoot packaging design, materials and processes.
• Summarize and analyze test results and communicate findings.
• Generate PDP documents and related packaging documentation.
• Train technicians on new processes or test procedures.
• Apply TDP and PDP methodologies.
• Serve on NPD and sustaining projects.
• Identify improvements in design, manufacturing and sustainability; submit VIP records.
• Collaborate with departments and suppliers on packaging approaches.
• Ensure resources support Quality System compliance and policy.
• Establish a work environment aligned with Quality Policy.
• Maintain knowledge of emerging technologies in medical device packaging.
