Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical, Materials, or Biomedical Engineering.
• 5 years experience or 3 years with advanced degree in ISO 11607, ASTM Packaging Standards, and Medical Device Packaging Design.
• Proficient in SolidWorks or equivalent CAD tool.
• Experience with medical device design control processes and documentation.
• Strong critical thinking and ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead R&D deliverables through the medical device design control process for infusion sets and connection devices.
• Collaborate within a cross-functional team to plan, develop, modify, implement, and support IPD products with rigorous engineering practices.
• Engineer robust products using DFSS principles and Six Sigma tools.
• Develop design inputs, conduct feasibility studies, verify and validate, transfer designs to Manufacturing and Support Regulatory filing strategies.
• Execute design verification testing to confirm design inputs.
