Job summary

Ocean Network Express (ONE) is seeking an Outside Sales - Account Executive in the Chicago area (Naperville preferred) to drive growth with container shipping customers. This hybrid role requires proactive territory management, strategic planning, and cross-functional collaboration with operations, pricing and customer service teams.

You will manage an account pipeline, pursue new business, and monitor KPIs to ensure profitability and volume growth in line with ONE’s policies.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of outside sales experience in container shipping or logistics.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Strong communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to develop strategic account plans.

Responsibilities

• Achieve or exceed volume and revenue budgets.
• Manage new business account pipeline.
• Maintain account plans and regular customer communication.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet goals.
• Monitor performance metrics and adjust actions as needed.
