Job summary

Gemma Services is looking for an Outreach Specialist for the Family Support Program in a hybrid, full-time role based in Philadelphia. You will recruit families in Philadelphia and Delaware Counties, build partnerships with community and funder referral sources, and support the Family Support Department while promoting the program through events and presentations.

The position requires strong outreach skills, relationship-building ability, and a valid driver’s license to travel between locations

Qualifications

• Two years or more of experience in community engagement and building relationships.
• Experience in networking, collaborating, and presenting in public forums and community events.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to commute to various locations in Philadelphia.

Responsibilities

• Engage in outreach activities to organizations that interact with families with children ages 2–8.
• Distribute materials and market the program to encourage enrollment.
• Tabling at community events, giving presentations, and interacting with community members.
• Maintain and manage administrative data; disseminate information and submit timely reports.
• Provide general support for the Family Support Department and coordinate with referral sources.
