Job summary

Grant Thornton in Fort Lauderdale, FL is seeking an Oracle Solution Architect to deliver advisory and implementation services across clients within the Oracle Practice. You will join the Transformation team from day one, helping clients move from current-state processes to future-state designs, while ensuring successful delivery of full life cycle Oracle ERP projects and up to 40% travel.

You will mentor junior staff, contribute to training materials, and develop client-ready documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, HR, Information Technology, MIS, or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of related work experience servicing cross-industry clients.
• Minimum 4 full life cycle implementations of Oracle ERP or similar applications.
• Industry recognized professional certification is required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of software development life cycles, key metrics, and reports.
• Experience with application integration & back-end data connectivity applications.
• Experience installing/configuring/implementing Oracle Applications.

Responsibilities

• Assist in full life cycle implementations including planning, design, & build phases
• Document business requirements, system design and transformational goals
• Configure applications and conduct iterative unit testing
• Create training materials and quick reference guides for user adoption
• Conduct training classes for deployment readiness
• Provide post-production support
• Participate in full life cycle implementations
• Identify business requirements, functional design, process design, prototyping, testing, training, and support procedures
• Meet or exceed targeted billing hours (utilization)
• Other duties as assigned
