Job summary

Ohio State University in the College of Optometry seeks a Senior Academic Program Services Specialist 3 to lead recruitment and student services initiatives. This role reports to the Assistant Dean of Student Services and supports OD student life cycle activities from recruitment through graduation.

The position requires on-site presence three days a week with remote work two days, travel, and evening/weekend hours as needed. Salary range is $56,300–$73,000, depending on education and experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Create, plan, and execute an annual outcomes-oriented plan for prospective student recruitment initiatives.
• Cultivate and maintain relations with individuals and organizations to recruit a diverse and highly qualified applicant pool.
• Participate in on- and off-campus recruitment activities and represent the college at national events.
• Develop strategies to involve faculty, alumni, and current students in recruitment.
• Conduct campus tours and meet with prospective students in-person and virtually.
