Job summary

AIJSearch is seeking an Operations Coordinator to support the CEO and leadership in contracts, business operations, and finance. The role is hybrid, with time split between Gaithersburg and Rockville, MD, and home, involving coordination across teams and data-driven analysis for decision making.

You will gain exposure to government contracts, budgeting, and process improvement in a small manufacturing setting, with a base salary of $95,000–$105,000 and a 10% annual bonus potential.

Qualifications

• Government contracting experience at a manufacturing, hardware, or R&D organization.
• Experience coordinating work across multiple people or functions.
• Business analysis experience, including building financial models in Excel.
• Advanced Excel (lookups, pivots) and professional document/presentation skills.
• Strong organization, accuracy and follow-through on detailed work.
• Clear written and verbal communication with executives and partners.
• Self-motivation: proactivity and early initiative.
• Discretion with confidential financial, personnel, and contract information.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate for the CEO and leadership team: track commitments, prepare materials, and move actions to closure.
• Coordinate across leadership, technical teams, vendors, and partners to meet deadlines.
• Arrange meetings, travel (domestic/international), and manage office needs and service vendors.
• Support HR onboarding and payroll, handling confidential information with discretion.
• Build and maintain data, models, and reports for budgeting and decision‑making.
