Job summary

Peoples Gas, a subsidiary of WEC Energy Group, is seeking an Operations Specialist to support our Chicago South, Central and Aon Center locations. The role is performed mostly in an office setting with a potential hybrid schedule at the Aon Center.

The Operations Specialist will verify work order documentation, resolve discrepancies with field personnel, and help ensure timely completion while maintaining compliant records and safe operations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years using Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
• 5+ years identifying and implementing solutions to problems.
• High School Diploma, HSED or GED.

Responsibilities

• Works across the company functionally to meet internal and external customer needs to help support field operations
• Data entry, updating company systems, time keeping, supporting field personnel, creating and routing work orders, managing customer driven, non-emergency orders to satisfy customer service requests and compliance requirements
• Navigates and utilizes various operational systems to input, update, and change customer or system related information
• Performs a variety of administrative tasks and completes multiple assignments/projects while demonstrating ability to gather, review and analyze information
