Job summary

Peoples Gas, a subsidiary of WEC Energy Group, is seeking an Operations Specialist to support field operations from our Chicago offices. The role involves reviewing, processing, and maintaining accurate records for Gas Services, verifying work order documentation, resolving discrepancies with field personnel and internal teams, and supporting timely work order completion.

The position contributes to safe operations, reliable system records, and compliance with company standards and regulatory

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with standard computer applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
• 5+ years of experience identifying and implementing solutions to problems.
• High School Diploma, HSED or GED.

Responsibilities

• Works across the company functionally to meet internal and external customer needs to help support field operations.
• Data entry, updating company systems, time keeping, supporting field personnel, creating and routing work orders, and managing customer-driven, non-emergency orders to satisfy customer service requests and compliance requirements.
• Navigates and utilizes various operational systems to input, update, and change customer or system related information.
• Performs a variety of administrative tasks and completes multiple assignments/projects while demonstrating ability to gather, review and analyze information.
