Upgrade is seeking a Data Analyst II to join our Phoenix Operations Analytics team. This role blends data analysis, visualization, and predictive insights to improve operational decision-making.

You will help build KPIs and dashboards, analyze large datasets, and tell data-driven stories to drive actions in a fast-growing environment. You will work in a hybrid model at the Phoenix office, onsite three days per week (Tue-Thu), partnering with operations leaders to optimize capacity, workforce,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years proven experience in data analysis and visualization.
• Advanced knowledge of SQL and data query/mining techniques.
• Experience applying statistical techniques and simulations to business problems.
• Strong storytelling and data communication skills for non-technical audiences.
• Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets for ad hoc analysis.
• Experience with Python for statistical analysis preferred.

Responsibilities

• Consult with internal operations leaders to identify problems or opportunities using data and analytics.
• Collect, analyze and interpret large data sets from various sources to answer high-impact business questions.
• Perform in-depth analyses and build data models to identify trends and key drivers.
• Apply statistical, simulation, and forecasting methods to quantify impact and anticipate outcomes.
• Translate analytical findings into clear recommendations with visualizations and presentations.
• Use data storytelling to simplify findings for non-technical stakeholders and drive action.
• Manage multiple analytics projects with accuracy and deadlines.
• Translate ambiguous questions into structured analytical approaches.
• Drive best practices to improve analytics across capacity planning, workforce analytics, and customer/call center analytics.
• Partner with operations leaders to define KPIs and dashboards.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and new skills.
