Job summary

Piper Companies in Raleigh-Durham is seeking a hybrid Operations Associate to support client services for life insurance and annuities. The role requires sitting on site 3 days a week, 9am-6pm, in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include handling claims and service communications via phone, email, chat, and text, resolving requests, explaining policy benefits, and processing changes such as withdrawals or ownership updates. Requires degree and call center skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate degree required.
• Ability to pass call center simulation (multitasking, listening, computer use).
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
• Experience working in customer service.

Responsibilities

• Manage all communication with clients about claims and services via phone, email, chat, and text.
• Provide quick, effective solutions to clients ensuring all requests are fully resolved.
• Clearly explain contract benefits and provide clear and helpful guidance on products and packages.
• Process service requests, including withdrawals, surrenders, and ownership or beneficiary changes.
• Provide technical support to clients navigating portal access.
