Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking an Operational Excellence Manager to lead performance-improvement initiatives across its Power & Controls Aftermarket business. This role collaborates with site, regional, and functional teams to identify challenges and implement sustainable improvements using CORE, Lean, and data-driven problem‑solving.

The position is hybrid, based in Rockford, IL or Windsor Locks, CT, with ~25% travel including international assignments.

Qualifications

• Experience in operations and continuous improvement.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
• Bachelor's or advanced degree in a related field with relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Identify and execute operational excellence initiatives across sites.
• Lead cross-functional improvement projects focusing on performance, quality, delivery, and cost.
• Analyze performance metrics to identify gaps and root causes.
• Facilitate problem-solving activities and CORE engagements to drive results.
• Develop and track milestones, deliverables, and action plans.
• Standardize processes and reduce variation across sites.
• Apply CORE, Lean, and BPM to improve operations.
• Support CORE Operating System maturity and data visibility.
