Job summary

Sargent & Lundy seeks a Project Manager to lead commercial interior office buildouts for new and expanding regional offices. The role focuses on space planning, budgeting, scheduling, and coordinating with brokers, architects, and MEP teams across a hybrid office/remote model.

You will manage multiple regional projects, oversee procurement, and ensure timely delivery while maintaining cost controls and quality. This is a growth-focused position in a nationally distributed workload.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Architecture, Interior Design or related field with 6+ years of corporate interior design experience.
• Understand commercial building lease practices and related terms.
• Able to manage multiple interior buildouts in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience coordinating with brokers, architects, contractors, vendors and trades.
• Familiarity with IT and A/V systems, security, and electrical power requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee space planning with stakeholders.
• Coordinate with real estate brokers to identify options for regional offices.
• Manage project planning, scheduling, cost estimating, and build-out supervision.
• Collaborate with architects and MEP designers to finalize installation plans and permits.
• Negotiate contracts and procure contractors and services.
• Lead weekly status meetings and report progress.
• Resolve on-site issues to meet budgets and schedules.
• Close out construction, collect documents, warranties, and waivers.
• Respond to bids, RFIs and approvals in a timely manner.
• Coordinate staff and equipment moves into new spaces.
• Decommission old offices and return to lease conditions.
