Job summary

Summit Health Management is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to join our Rye, NY and Greenwich, CT clinics. The role involves performing radiographic examinations, ensuring patient safety, and adhering to imaging protocols under the Chief Technologist. Connecticut license support may be provided.

The position requires NY ARRT certification, strong patient communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Cross-training across modalities is available.

Qualifications

• New York State Radiology License and ARRT Certification.
• Excellent patient and people skills.
• Knowledge of human anatomy and cross-section anatomy.
• Ability to maintain continuing education credits and licenses.
• Experience with radiology procedures and protocols.

Responsibilities

• Follow physician orders and radiation safety protocols.
• Assist patient positioning and immobilization.
• Verify patient identification and routing to PACS.
• Operate radiologic equipment for diagnostic imaging.
• Maintain logs and prepare patients for procedures.
• Educate patients about procedures and provide compassionate care.
• Maintain equipment cleanliness and safety standards.
• Cross-train to perform other modalities as needed.
