Qualifications

• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration.
• Minimum of one year experience performing radiologic exams.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patient for exam. Translates examination into lay terms and obtains consent if needed.
• Performs radiologic exams, positions patient, and adjusts devices for correct exposure.
• Operates x-ray equipment and monitors patient condition during the procedure.
• Labels and catalogs images with correct date, patient name, and side markers.
• Posts exam data to logs and completes tracking steps as required.
