Job summary

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a field appropriate to the teaching profession is required.
• PhD in a field appropriate to the teaching profession is preferred.
• 2+ years of professional experience in a related teaching discipline is required.
• Excellent communication skills and initiative with prudent judgment are expected.
• Technological expertise with LMS, simulation equipment, and online platforms, including AI.
• Active collaboration with faculty and clinical partners is essential.
• Maintain current regulatory credentials as required by the assignment.
• Demonstrate scholarship in focus areas: discovery, integration, practice, and teaching/learning.

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned nursing courses online, in class, and in clinical settings.
• Evaluate students and provide feedback and remediation.
• Lead clinical learning and connect theory to practice.
• Contribute to CU community through service and scholarship.
• Maintain teaching skills and stay updated with policies.
