Job summary

Mesa Associates, Inc is seeking candidates for a hybrid role in Mechanical or Nuclear Engineering. The position requires at least 3 office days and candidates must travel to plant sites approximately 6–8 days per month.

Applicants should have a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical or Nuclear Engineering, preferably with EIT certification and experience in nuclear plant modifications. Responsibilities include developing nuclear project deliverables and ensuring design standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical or Nuclear Engineering from an accredited university is required.
• EIT (highly preferred) – ability to obtain within one year is required.
• Four or more years of experience related to nuclear clients and vendors are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the development of deliverables for nuclear projects.
• Act as a Design Engineer for Mechanical and/or Nuclear projects.
• Prepare engineering change packages and conduct field walkdowns.
