Job summary

Johnson Controls seeks a results-driven Senior Program Manager to join the Fire Detection NPI PMO in Westford, MA. Hybrid work is offered with three days onsite and two days remote as you deliver complex software and hardware programs and elevate PM practices.

Onsite relocation is available; you will lead cross-functional teams across Engineering, Quality, Product Management, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain to ensure successful product introductions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 10+ years leading electronic product development and NPI programs in manufacturing.
• Proven ability to manage large cross-functional programs, budgets, forecasts, and reports.
• Strong knowledge of Agile and traditional PM methods; proficient in MS Project & Excel.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple concurrent NPI programs through full product lifecycles with scope, schedule, cost, quality, and risk oversight.
• Align and execute with global cross-functional teams (Engineering, Quality, Product Management, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Sales).
• Develop and maintain integrated program plans including budgets, milestones, risks, and mitigations.
• Manage budgets and reporting to align with business objectives and financial commitments.
• Lead Value Analysis / Value Engineering initiatives to improve cost competitiveness and product value.
• Identify, elevate, and resolve program risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Communicate program status and metrics to senior leadership; drive PMO improvements.
