Job summary

BeyondReach in Cedar Rapids, IA is seeking a NOC Technician Tier I to monitor queues, troubleshoot issues, and support clients and field teams. The role requires 2–3 years of experience and 2 years of higher education or industry-standard certifications.

Hybrid schedule with on-call responsibilities, the candidate should be familiar with DNS/DHCP, TCP/IP, VPNs, and network concepts while delivering strong customer service and issue resolution.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience preferred in a NOC or technical support role.
• Strong communication and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor NOC work queues to troubleshoot and resolve client issues.
• Provide phone and remote support with field technicians, clients, and vendors.
• Document solutions and maintain knowledge base and runbooks.

Education

Associate degree or higher in a related field or industry standard certifications

Certifications: CompTIA Security+

Certifications: Network+

DNS/DHCP/TCP-IP proficiency

VPN familiarity (IPSec, SSL)
