Job summary

The University of Washington’s UW Medicine Transfer Center is seeking a Per Diem Registered Nurse for night shifts to coordinate patient transfers across facilities in the WWAMI region. Located at Boeing Field with a hybrid work arrangement combining in-office and remote work.

This role focuses on coordinating with referring hospitals, UW Medicine providers, and outside hospitals to ensure rapid, safe transfers for emergent or urgent cases.

Qualifications

• WA State (or multistate) RN license is required.
• Minimum two years RN experience including emergency, ICU, acute care, and/or outpatient nursing.
• Triage experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating with referring hospitals to safely transfer patients into UW Medicine facilities.
• Coordinating with UW Medicine providers to transfer patients between UW Medicine facilities.
• Coordinating with outside hospitals to transfer patients out of UW Medicine facilities.
