Job summary

The 15-bed unit cares for patients in NIH-funded research studies, spanning pediatric to geriatric populations with endocrine, hematologic and immune disorders.

The nurse will provide direct care and assessment of research subjects, applying the nursing process to ensure safe, evidence-based care delivered by the team.

Qualifications

• Two years of professional acute care nursing experience.
• Prefer skills in research and understanding disorders of the endocrine, hematologic and immune system.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the nursing care and evaluation of research patients.
• Nursing Process – Systematically assesses the need for and the delivery of nursing services that meet patient care requirements.
