Job summary

UW Medicine Transfer Center in Seattle is seeking a Per Diem Registered Nurse to support transfers at Boeing Field, with a hybrid in-office and home-based schedule. The role focuses on coordinating patient transfers during night shifts and ensuring safe, efficient movement of patients within UW Medicine facilities and to affiliated sites.

Applicants must hold a WA State RN license with at least two years of emergency/ICU/acute care experience; triage experience is desirable.

Qualifications

• Current WA State RN license (or multistate).
• Minimum two years of professional RN experience including emergency, ICU, acute care, and/or outpatient nursing.
• Triage experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with referring hospitals to safely transfer patients into UW Medicine facilities.
• Coordinate with UW Medicine providers to transfer patients between UW Medicine facilities.
• Coordinate with outside hospitals to transfer patients out of UW Medicine facilities.
