WIN Technology in Eau Claire, WI is seeking a Network Systems Technician to join the Network Management Department. You will maintain enterprise routers/switches, servers, and related infrastructure, ensuring high availability and rapid issue resolution.

You will diagnose problems using monitoring tools, manage tickets, and communicate outages and maintenance to customers. The role requires 2-year degree and willingness to work rotating shifts in a hybrid environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 3 years of related experience.
• Proven ability to provide excellent customer service.
• Ability to work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift with rotating weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and administer routers, switches, SONET/DWDM/IP gear and servers.
• Diagnose network/server problems with monitoring systems and manage tickets.
• Notify customers about outages and outage management.
• Assist with SOPs, equipment installation and cabling.
• Perform maintenance and provide prompt outage notifications to customers.
• Follow documented processes and procedures.
• Provide support for email, DHCP, DNS, authentication for new circuits.
• Ensure backups are configured and tested correctly.
• Log checks and repairs; perform security updates on devices.
• Complete video channel turn-up, testing and repair.
• Provide engineering/config services for core and customer equipment and security checks.
• Travel to the data center as needed.
