Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a Network Operations Manager to oversee the design, deployment, and daily operations of the organization’s network infrastructure across servers, VMware, and Citrix. You will lead a team of engineers and a help desk, ensuring performance, security, and cost controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; relevant experience may substitute.
• 6–8 years of relevant experience in network operations or management.
• Hands-on background in Windows environments; Citrix experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee design, deployment, and maintenance of the organization's network infrastructure (servers, backup, cloud, load balancers, etc.).
• Lead a team of network engineers, technicians and a Help Desk; provide guidance and performance feedback.
• Ensure security by enforcing best practices for firewalls and hardening of servers/network infrastructure.
• Monitor network traffic and forecast capacity needs; manage budget considerations with CTO alignment.
• Monitor and report security events; ensure policies and procedures are followed.
