Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Network/Desktop Administrator to support and maintain enterprise network and end-user computing infrastructure in a hybrid role. Responsibilities span configuring Cisco switches, VLANs, port security, imaging endpoints, and Windows 10/11 administration with routine ticketing.

The ideal candidate will have TS/SCI clearance, a technical BS, 5 years of system admin experience, and 2+ years in VDI/thin-client environments, plus experience with SCCM/MECM and STIG compliance.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph required.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline and 5 years of system administration experience are required.
• 1–2 years in network administration with Cisco IOS-XE and NX-OS.
• 2+ years managing customer’s VDI/thin-client platform.
• 2+ years Windows 10/11 administration and troubleshooting.
• PXE-based imaging/deployment experience.
• PuTTY, PowerShell, and Windows command-line tools.
• Active Directory user/group administration experience.
• Endpoint management tools (SCCM/MECM, BigFix).
• Familiarity with security baselines and STIG compliance.
• Experience with JIRA ITSM ticketing.

Responsibilities

• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Cisco switches (IOS-XE/NX-OS).
• Manage port security and MAC-based controls.
• Support TCP/IP, DHCP/DNS, and L2/L3 troubleshooting.
• Maintain VDI/thin-client infrastructure and endpoint provisioning.
• Image and deploy endpoints via PXE and tooling.
• Administer Windows 10/11 endpoints and lifecycle tasks.
• Execute patch management and remediation per IAVA.
