Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Permanent Network Engineer to support an enterprise IT environment and help keep critical services secure and reliable. You will design, implement, and optimize network infrastructure across wired, wireless, and remote-access environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on network engineering in an enterprise or Tech Services environment.
• Strong experience with routing, switching, security, and network design for high availability.
• Experience with VPN, firewall policies, and secure site-to-site/remote connectivity.
• Familiarity with TCP/IP, subnetting, VLANs, and network monitoring tools.
• Relevant certifications such as CCNA/CCNP are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, maintain, and optimize enterprise network infrastructure.
• Administer firewalls, security policies, and access controls.
• Configure and troubleshoot VPN technologies for site-to-site and remote access.
• Monitor health, analyze traffic, address capacity and performance risks.
• Configure BGP/OSPF, VLANs, switching, and Layer 2/3 connectivity.
• Manage wireless network infrastructure including APs and controllers.
• Apply TCP/IP expertise to planning, segmentation, and troubleshooting.
• Diagnose incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and implement improvements.
• Collaborate with service desk, security, and application teams.
• Maintain network diagrams, configurations, and incident records.
• Support controlled network changes, upgrades, and patching with minimal disruption.
