Job summary

Breezeline, based in Columbus, OH, seeks a seasoned Datacom engineer to design and activate commercial services across fiber and PON networks. You will implement standards and support field operations to ensure stable delivery of services in a dynamic, hybrid work environment.

The role requires strong routing, IP/MPLS, and TCP/IP knowledge, plus collaboration with cross-functional teams to optimize performance and customer experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field required.
• Industry and vendor specific certifications (Cisco, NCTI, SCTE, BCT/E) preferred.
• Minimum 4 years in Datacom network design/architecture.

Responsibilities

• Actively support customer service and experience.
• Coordinate fiber operations with field staff and hardware changes.
• Liaise with Engineers, NOC, and Tech Support to deliver solutions.
• Provide engineering support for new/existing technologies.
