Job summary

Trident Maritime Systems-Heavy Equipment Group is seeking a Systems/Network Engineer to maintain and advance our enterprise network. The role requires hands-on work with Microsoft, Cisco, VMware, Azure, and Remote Desktop Services, based on-site at Kingsford, MI or Iron River, MI with potential hybrid arrangements.

You will design, implement, and support LAN/WAN infrastructure, ensure security, document solutions, and drive projects end-to-end.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT or related field and 3+ years in networking/IT.
• Experience with enterprise networks, security, and documentation.
• Strong communication and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical oversight for network infrastructure planning and implementation.
• Configure and maintain Windows servers in physical and virtual environments.
• Manage LAN/WAN, security, and compliance tasks with senior support.
• Document designs, root causes, and deployment steps.
• Drive projects from concept through completion and coordinate with vendors.
• Lead incident response and vulnerability management with security teams.
• Travel up to 10% as required.
