Job summary

Schurz Communications in Maricopa, AZ seeks an Access Network Engineer to design, implement, maintain, optimize, and support local and wide area network infrastructure and broadband access technologies. The role focuses on reliability, performance, scalability, and security while supporting operational projects and strategic growth.

The engineer will support routing, switching, VPN, DNS, DHCP, TACACS, RADIUS services, and develop network documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a networking-related field.
• CCNP, JNCIA, or equivalent certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, deploy, maintain, and optimize network infrastructure.
• Support broadband access technologies including CMTS, GPON, DOCSIS, Ethernet, RF, and IP networking.
• Execute testing to validate network functionality, performance, and reliability.
