Job summary

SAIC is seeking a motivated Mid-Level Software Engineer in Ashburn, VA for a hybrid-remote role (2 days on-site). The position emphasizes .NET Core, C#, JavaScript, Vue.js, and AWS, with PostgreSQL integration and CI/CD using Jenkins and GitLab.

You will contribute to Agile ceremonies, design and implement middleware and web services, and document software architecture. DHS Public Trust clearance is a prerequisite or contingent upon obtaining one.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field plus five or more years of software development experience.
• Experience building and maintaining multi-threaded applications and web services.
• US Citizenship with ability to obtain DHS Public Trust security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Act as an integral member of an Agile software development team.
• Design and develop .NET applications including middleware and UI components.
• Develop and integrate with PostgreSQL databases and web services.
• Create software design documentation and diagrams.
• Use IDEs such as Visual Studio and Git for version control.
• Manage software testing activities and defect troubleshooting.
• Provide Tier 3/4 engineering support for production deployments.
