Job summary

Centennial-Mental-Health-Center-Inc. is seeking a School-Based Mental Health Specialist to provide behavioral health outreach and MTSS-based consultation across school districts in Centennial’s 10-county catchment area.

The role involves collaboration with internal and external stakeholders and requires travel within the service area. The position is full-time and hybrid, with in-office days and frequent travel to schools.

Qualifications

• Experience working with educators, children and adolescents in the school-based setting.
• Knowledge and skill sets directly related to prevention, intervention and referral for treatment of school-aged children.
• Competency working with educators, school administrators and students from diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultation and support to K-12 schools and districts using MTSS.
• Work with Tier 1–3 services to promote mental health and establish referral pathways.
• Attend monthly school-based mental health supervision.
• Serve as primary contact for referrals and tailored services to districts.
