First Interstate Bank is seeking a Mortgage Processing Support Specialist on a hybrid basis at the Sioux Falls, SD Downtown branch. The role involves managing appraisal orders, ensuring TRID and HMDA compliance, and maintaining communication with appraisers and the closing team.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of Appraisal Independence Requirements, TRID, HMDA, and Regulation B, with 1–3 years of mortgage industry experience.

Qualifikationen

• Must have knowledge of Appraisal Independence Requirements.
• Strong knowledge of TRID and HMDA reporting.
• Familiarity with Regulation B and appraisal processes.

Aufgaben

• Orders appraisals immediately after receiving communication from the Client Group via the Appraisal Software System.
• Facilitates communication between First Interstate Bank and appraisers to ensure appraisals meet Appraisal Independence Requirements and regulatory standards.
• Acts as liaison to communicate appraisal concerns and resolve discrepancies with appraisers and staff.
• Maintains all Appraisal Queues in the LOS and follows up on past-due appraisals with Mortgage Processing Manager.
• Submits appraisal invoices for payment and documents LOS file for the Closing team to review.
