AppleOne Employment Services is seeking an experienced Mortgage Loan Officer for a growing financial institution in Charleston, SC. You will meet with borrowers, assess their financial backgrounds, and guide them from application through closing, helping clients select suitable mortgage products.

You will educate borrowers on rates and requirements, review documents, and coordinate with processors and underwriters to keep loans moving while maintaining ongoing communication and building lasting

Qualifications

• 2+ years of mortgage lending experience.
• Strong customer service, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Knowledge of mortgage lending processes, regulations, and documentation.

Responsabilités

• Meet with prospective borrowers to understand their financial background and homeownership goals.
• Recommend mortgage products that align with each customer's financial needs.
• Educate borrowers on rates, lending requirements, and the mortgage process.
• Collect and review financial documentation to ensure applications are complete and accurate.
• Partner with processors and underwriters to keep loans moving and resolve issues quickly.
• Maintain consistent communication with borrowers throughout the lending process.
• Build lasting client relationships and develop a strong referral network.
• Open and process loans in accordance with bank policies and applicable BSA, CIP, and OFAC requirements.
