Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; as/bs preferred.
• Mortgage banking familiarity required; 1 year of related experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
• Strong oral and written communications.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Follow up with settlement agents and attorneys for title policies and docs.
• Prioritize tasks by closing dates, including rush closings.
• Communicate closing date changes to Sales and Operations staff.
• Enter actual title fees and update title fees in the system.
• Request Funding Shield certificates and address issues.
• Check Funding Shield and upload certificates into Encompass.
• Trigger change of circumstance alerts for fee changes.
• Check emails for documents for loans closing within 3–7 days; follow up as needed.
• Prepare documents and coordinate review by attorneys; arrange changes as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
