Qualifications

5+ years of underwriting or market-facing experience.
10+ years of claims or underwriting support experience.
ZCI Apprentice with an associate degree and 3+ years in underwriting/market-facing area.
ZCI Apprentice with an associate degree and 8+ years in claims/underwriting support.
Experience with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

Provide coaching and mentoring to a team of underwriters.
Manage underwriting and rate strategies to promote profitable growth.
Manage relationships with internal stakeholders to identify service improvement opportunities and ensure commercial viability and customer satisfaction.
Underwrite and analyze new and renewal business within delegated authority.
Develop and maintain relationships with distributors to retain and grow business and determine insurance needs to provide solutions.
Support the organization’s sales culture by acting as a trusted advisor to agents, brokers, and customers.
