Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent and 5+ years in Underwriting/Market Facing area OR
• High School Diploma or Equivalent and 10+ years in Claims or Underwriting Support area OR
• Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice with an Associate Degree and 3+ years in Underwriting/Market Facing area OR
• Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice with an Associate Degree and 8+ years in Claims or Underwriting Support area
• Experience working with Microsoft Office
• Experience meeting quotes deadlines for new and renewal business
• Experience working in a team environment

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with broker partners and customers across industries.
• Leverage underwriting acumen in risk assessment, exposure evaluation and pricing for a profitable book of business.
• Collaborate with claims, finance, risk engineering, actuary, and technical underwriting teams.
• Use technical underwriting, negotiation and interpersonal skills to grow relationships with distribution partners in an assigned territory.
