Job summary

Fabletics is seeking a Merchandise Production Associate based in El Segundo, CA, to manage PO workflows, pre-production activities, and vendor coordination for on-time delivery of garments. The role requires detail orientation, accuracy in PO creation, and proactive communication across Production, Product Development, and vendors.

You will work with PLM data, Excel-driven tracking, and engage with cross-functional teams to optimize costs and timelines, including AI-assisted productivity

Qualifications

• 2–4 years in production/merch ops with vendor and PO exposure.
• End-to-end PO workflow management with tracking and resolution.
• Hands-on use of PLM systems for product and cost data.
• Strong Excel skills for large datasets and tracking tools.
• Ability to read garment tests and propose next steps.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and vendors.
• Excellent organization and prioritization to meet milestones.
• Foundational AI literacy and openness to new tech.

Responsibilities

• Manage buy releases, update capacity projections and align lead times.
• Validate quotes and ensure PO details match the buy plan.
• Collaborate with PO Creation to generate accurate purchase orders.
• Review weekly vendor WIPs to meet milestones and handover on schedule.
• Monitor pre-production approvals and adjust delivery dates.
• Negotiate delays and troubleshoot with vendors to stay on time.
• Review weekly delivery status with stakeholders and track risks.
• Review compliance chargebacks for late bookings/deliveries.
• Review garment testing/inspection reports and escalate issues.
• Present info for corrective actions and research root causes.
