Qualifications

• Level I requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Level II requires prior collections or member service experience and pursuit of Certified Credit Union Financial Counselor certification.
• Senior Level requires asset recovery experience and leadership experience with CCU Financial Counselor certification.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure compliance.
• Manage share and loan collection queues and related transactions.
• Assist members with negative balances and delinquent payments through outreach and negotiation.
• Provide financial counseling and refer to external resources when needed.
• Document collection efforts and communications for staff review.
