Bellin Health in Green Bay, WI seeks a Medical Staff Services Specialist to coordinate activities within the Medical Staff Services office and support governance per applicable bylaws and accrediting standards.

Responsibilities include processing appointments, credentialing, and maintaining practitioner databases, while promoting communication and process improvement within aHybrid work environment at our Green Bay campus.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in medical terminology with admin support background.
• NAMSS CPMSM or CPCS certification is a plus.
• Minimum of three years of healthcare experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Maintains knowledge of Bellin Health Medical Staff Bylaws, Rules and NCQA standards.
• Facilitates communication to Medical Staff and Allied Health Professionals.
• Promotes improvements and efficiency initiatives.
• Processes appointment and reappointment applications per Bellin policies.
• Coordinates payor credentialing enrollment for Bellin Health practitioners.
• Monitors proctoring, competencies, and OPPE within privileging process.
• Maintains practitioner database and verification information as required by policy.
• Monitors credentialing expirations, licensure, and insurance.
• Participates in credentialing audits as requested by payors.
• Prepares meeting notices and transcribes minutes for Medical Staff meetings.
• Promotes positive relations with physicians and internal/external customers.
• Attends regularly scheduled shifts.
