Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certification in Medical Staff Credentialing required or must be obtained within 18 months of hire.
• Proficiency with MD-Staff credentialing software and MS Office desirable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee credentialing and re-credentialing processes for physicians, APPs, and allied health staff.
• Organize medical staff meetings, agendas, and minutes; support leadership committees and hospital administration.
• Develop and revise credentialing bylaw-related policies; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Maintain confidential credentialing files and data integrity in the medical staff database.
• Provide training on accreditation standards to staff and hospital personnel.
• Assist in budgeting and resource management for the department.
