A-Line Staffing is seeking a motivated Medical Billing & Collections Representative (Accounts Receivable) in Phoenix, AZ. This contract role offers 40+ hours per week on a hybrid schedule, with 2 weeks on-site followed by a mix of in-office and work-from-home days.

The payrate is $20.00/hr with full-time hours and growth potential. Responsibilities include invoicing, payment posting, aging analysis, and resolving payment discrepancies while maintaining accurate documentation.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or GED (verifiable).
• Commitment to mandatory attendance during first 90 days.
• Medical billing and collections experience (healthcare AR).
• General accounting/AR knowledge (debits/credits, payment application, reconciliation).
• Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and comfort with multiple systems (billing/claims/ERP).
• Strong attention to detail and organization.

Responsabilidades

• Manage billing and collections activities, including invoicing, payment posting, and follow-up on past-due accounts.
• Review AR aging and prioritize outreach/collections based on aging and risk.
• Research and reconcile unapplied/misapplied payments and other payment discrepancies.
• Investigate short-pays, chargebacks, and customer disputes; document findings clearly.
• Work denials/disputes and maintain thorough account notes and tracking.
• Use billing/claims and productivity tools to track and report activity.
