Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Manage healthcare accounts receivable and medical collections, including follow-up on past-due balances.
• Monitor AR aging reports and prioritize work by aging and risk, keeping accurate notes.
• Research and resolve denials, short-pays, disputes, and payment variances using EOB/ERA details and payer guidelines.
• Apply and reconcile payments; identify and correct unapplied or misapplied payments.
• Generate invoices and maintain clean documentation for audit-ready billing activity.
• Communicate with payers and internal partners via phone, email, and chat to resolve billing issues.
• Identify recurring denial trends and support process improvements to reduce rework.
• Use billing/clearinghouse tools and healthcare revenue cycle systems.
