Marathon Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our care team. You will work closely with a primary care physician to deliver excellent patient care and ensure a great guest experience for our patients.

The role combines front desk duties with clinical responsibilities, including taking vitals, injections, draws, and aiding with procedures. Ideal candidates have 1 year of MA experience, completed MA training, and CPR/BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant, preferably in Primary Care.
• National or state-specific MA certification or registration is strongly preferred.
• MA certification or registration is required for employment in states where certification/registration is required.
• CPR/BLS certification required at time of start date.
• Phlebotomy experience is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Escort patients to room and ensure exam rooms are cleaned and stocked.
• Review previous medical information and obtain updated health information from patients.
• Take vitals, perform blood draws, give injections, bandage wounds, assist with procedures.
• Work with contracted labs for additional tests.
• Prepare and administer medications and immunizations as directed by the Provider.
• Develop patient care plans with the care team to address gaps in care.
• Front desk duties: scheduling, medical record requests, documentation, referrals, check-in/out.
• Record data accurately in medical records and communicate test results timely.

Formation

Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program or other related program
