Marathon Health is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our team. The MA works closely with a primary care physician to deliver excellent patient care and provide an exceptional guest experience, acting as both Medical Receptionist and clinical support.

Requirements include a minimum of 1 year as a Medical Assistant, graduation from a MA program, and CPR/BLS certification. MA certification/registration is preferred where required by state law.

Qualificações

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant, preferably in Primary Care.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program or related program.
• National or state-specific MA certification or registration preferred, required where applicable.

Responsabilidades

• Escort patients to exam rooms and ensure rooms are clean and stocked.
• Take vitals, draw blood, administer injections, and assist with procedures.
• Prepare and administer medications under Provider orders; support care planning.
• Front desk duties including scheduling, records requests, and referrals.
• Document data in medical records and communicate test results to patients.
• Support outreach to patients to engage eligible groups and maintain supplies.
