Placements24 partners with an established engineering firm in Welkom to recruit Graduate Mechanical Engineers. You will contribute to the design, development, and testing of mechanical systems while gaining practical experience in a hands-on environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Strong understanding of mechanical principles, thermodynamics and materials science.
• Proficiency with CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
• Basic knowledge of simulation tools (ANSYS) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design and development of mechanical components and systems using CAD software.
• Participate in prototyping and testing of new designs.
• Conduct performance analysis and simulations to evaluate design effectiveness.
• Collaborate with manufacturing to ensure designs are feasible for production.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues during development or production.
• Prepare technical documentation including drawings, reports, and specifications.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering processes and standards.
• Support senior engineers on various projects and tasks.
