Job summary

Genesis AEC, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support a team of mechanical engineers and designers on technically challenging life sciences projects. You will contribute to HVAC/system layout work, field surveys, and cross-discipline coordination in a growth-focused environment.

The role involves developing equipment specs, reviewing submittals, and aiding in energy evaluations, with a culture centered on inclusion and professional development.

Qualifications

• BS or MS degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience; co-op/internships considered.
• Strong problem solving and collaboration skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Prepare engineering calculations (HVAC load, fan static pressure, hydraulic calculations).
• Conduct field surveys and assist in HVAC/Central Utility layout design.
• Coordinate with discipline engineers, architects, clients, and contractors.
• Support instrument and control design development for mechanical systems.
