Genesis AEC, an award-winning life sciences-focused firm, seeks a Senior Mechanical Designer to join our multidisciplinary team. You will contribute to high-quality designs for technically challenging projects, working with Engineers and Designers on field surveys, conceptual layouts, and detailed drawings.

Qualifications

10+ years of progressively responsible mechanical design experience.
Proficient with REVIT 3D, BIM 360, and AutoCAD.
Ability to take ownership of mechanical design scope from conceptual layout through construction documents.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Performing field surveys.
Develop Conceptual Designs and layouts with the support of an engineer for ductwork and piping systems.
Create airflow and piping diagrams and pressurization plans.
Develop equipment arrangement plans and detailed drawings.
Coordinate with other discipline engineers, architects, and contractors.
Review ductwork and piping shop drawings.
